Absolute3D provides a comprehensive reverse engineering and CAD (computer-aided design) modeling service. Our in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties, allows us to design parts and products for a diverse range of industries. As experienced engineers, we understand how parts wear and degrade over time, allowing us to create reverse engineered CAD models that accurately reflect the original design intent.

For manufacturing purposes, we provide CAD models in neutral formats such as STEP, IGES, or Parasolid. If redesigning parts is the objective, we can provide native parametric models, with support for multiple CAD programs. Drawings can be supplied in DXF, DWG, or PDF format. 3D Inspection

3D inspection involves comparing scan data against reference data, typically a CAD model or technical drawing. This process is essential in manufacturing and quality control to ensure that parts are produced accurately. To verify that a part meets specified tolerances, we 3D scan the item and compare the scan data to the original reference data used by the manufacturer. Manufacturing flaws often result in parts that don’t meet tolerance levels.
